Terms & Conditions – Made For The Aisle
By placing an order with Made For The Aisle, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before ordering.
1. Personalised & Made-to-Order Products
Many of the products sold by Made For The Aisle are personalised or made specifically to your requirements.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide the correct names, dates, wording, colours, photographs, sizes and any other personalisation details requested.
Please check all information carefully before placing your order or approving a design.
Once an item has been personalised using the information supplied by the customer, Made For The Aisle cannot be held responsible for spelling mistakes, incorrect dates or other errors that were provided or approved by the customer.
2. Bespoke Designs & Design Approval
Some products require a design to be discussed and created before an order is placed.
Where applicable, customers may be asked to contact Made For The Aisle by email or Facebook with their design ideas, wording, colours, photographs or other requirements.
If a design or mockup is provided for approval, it is the customer’s responsibility to check all details carefully.
Once a design has been approved, any changes requested afterwards may not be possible if production has already begun.
3. Photographs & Customer-Supplied Images
Where a product requires a photograph or image, customers should provide the clearest and highest-quality image available.
The quality of the finished product may depend on the quality, size and resolution of the image supplied.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have permission to provide and use any photograph, image, logo or artwork submitted for their order.
Customer photographs and personal information will only be used for the purpose of creating the order unless separate permission has been given for them to be used for promotional or marketing purposes.
4. Product Images & Mockups
Some product photographs may show previous customer orders, example designs or digital mockups.
Mockups are provided to demonstrate the approximate appearance, layout or personalisation available.
Because products are personalised individually, the finished item may differ slightly from images shown on the website.
Colour appearance may also vary slightly depending on screen settings, materials and production methods.
5. Turnaround Times
The standard turnaround time for made-to-order and personalised products is 14 working days, excluding weekends and UK bank holidays, unless otherwise stated on the product listing.
Turnaround time refers to the time required to make or prepare the order and does not necessarily include delivery time.
Customers ordering for a wedding, birthday, holiday or other time-sensitive occasion should allow sufficient time for both production and delivery.
If you require an item for a specific date, please contact Made For The Aisle before ordering to check whether the required timescale can be accommodated.
6. Delivery
Delivery times begin once an order has been completed and dispatched.
Any delivery estimates provided by postal or courier services are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside the control of Made For The Aisle.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If an order is returned because an incorrect or incomplete delivery address was supplied, additional postage charges may apply before the order can be resent.
7. Cancellations
Because many products are personalised or made to the customer’s specifications, cancellation rights may differ from those applying to standard, non-personalised products.
Bespoke and customised goods are generally exempt from the usual online change-of-mind cancellation right.
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact Made For The Aisle as soon as possible.
If work has not yet started, it may be possible to cancel the order.
If design work, personalisation or production has already begun, cancellation may not be possible or reasonable costs already incurred may need to be taken into account. Any cancellation terms must remain fair under UK consumer law.
8. Returns & Refunds
Personalised or custom-made products cannot normally be returned simply because the customer has changed their mind.
However, this does not affect your statutory rights.
If an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or does not do what it is supposed to do, please contact Made For The Aisle as soon as possible with your order number and photographs showing the issue.
UK consumer law requires goods to be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. These rights cannot be removed by these terms and conditions.
Please do not dispose of a damaged or faulty item until the issue has been discussed, as photographs or return of the item may be required.
9. Handmade & Personalised Nature
Many items are individually created, personalised or finished by hand.
Small variations in placement, appearance or finish may occur between items and do not necessarily constitute a fault.
Every effort will be made to create your item as closely as possible to the agreed design and product description.
10. Prices
All prices shown on the website are in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.
The price displayed at the time the order is placed is the price payable for that product, together with any applicable delivery charges.
Where a listing states that the price is per item, customers must select the correct quantity required.
11. Multiple Personalised Items
For products such as name discs, ribbons or other items requiring multiple individual names or details, customers must purchase the correct quantity and provide the required personalisation information as instructed on the product listing.
Providing multiple names does not automatically increase the quantity of products ordered.
12. Intellectual Property & Custom Designs
Designs created specifically by Made For The Aisle remain the intellectual property of Made For The Aisle unless otherwise agreed.
Customers must not reproduce, copy or commercially use original Made For The Aisle designs without permission.
13. Changes to Products or Availability
Made For The Aisle may occasionally need to discontinue products, change available colours, styles or materials, or update product information.
If an unexpected stock or supply issue affects an order that has already been placed, the customer will be contacted to discuss the available options.
14. Contact
If you have any questions about an order, personalisation, bespoke design or these terms and conditions, please use the Contact page on the Made For The Aisle website.
If your enquiry relates to an existing order, please include your order number where possible.
15. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any rights you have under UK consumer law.
Terms that attempt to remove responsibility for faulty goods, goods that are not as described, or other statutory consumer protections are not enforceable.
